Here's a confession: I know little about film photography.
But I do know that I enjoy how it looks and that I have a steep learning curve ahead of me.
I left the house this evening during "golden hour" for dinner and snapped a few photos in the process.
Upon returning home and browsing through the small collection of shots I had (I was trying not to "chimp" on the go as Eric Kim puts it), I noticed I had a few that could be considered decent to post online as part of my learning curve. While I know these aren't the strongest images, they were fun to play around with using the VSCO Film Kodak Portra 400 preset.
I'm having a lot more fun with my compact than I ever did with my DSLR. Which is saying a lot. Larger, more advanced cameras may not be what you need.
I'm thoroughly enjoying photography right now.
