I stumbled upon Toby's YouTube channel some time back while searching for DSLR reviews and photography tips. I was in the market for a DSLR and wanted to hear what some other experienced photographers had to say.
My initial impression of Toby was that he was a no-nonsense kinda guy... a serious photographer who approached his craft in a very businesslike way. His reviews were very informative and tutorials helpful. Just not terribly humourous.
Enter Christina Bernales, a wedding photographer from Vermont and a new series of videos called "Photo Mish Mash" that usually ends up being an hour long. It's just plain brilliant! The two discuss a variety of topics and frequently provide differing views on reader questions, camera gear and techniques.
If you're not into lengthy videos and talking heads, you'll probably want to give this a miss. Watch his other tutorials / reviews / discussions instead. If you're like me and enjoy a little techie chat, then this is probably right up your alley.
Toby has recently decided to do YouTube full time, so you'll get a whole lot more content coming up. Definitely a channel worth subscribing to.
